OVERVIEW
The Deputy Manager is responsible for supporting the Registered Manager and ensuring the overarching service delivered within FEVACA Children’s home.
They are responsible for supervising, supporting and managing some staff within their home. They report directly to the Register Manager.
The Deputy Manager is a professional with significant experience in their field who holds a qualification and registration in social work or social care such as the NVQ 3 and is working towards the NVQ 5: They must have significant and developing understanding of social work perspectives and an ability to manage staff, environment and clients with complex and challenging behaviours.
The management of staff includes the completion of appraisals and identification of developmental goals and training opportunities. Most importantly the Deputy Manager, along with the Registered Manager is responsible for ensuring the clients needs are met, the environment is positive and the statutory or contractual obligations of FEVACA are met, including the requirement to meet Childrens homes regulations 2015.

OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Operational Service Manager to lead and oversee our Area Managers responsible for our Residential Children’s Home Service and Supported Accommodation Service for 16+ young people across different areas of the UK. This is a full-time position.
FEVACA is a family run Social Care organisation providing support and accommodation to young people across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Buckinghamshire and plans to increase these geographic areas. As the Operational Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development of the services to ensure the services are safe, caring, effective and well-led. You will report to the company’s Directors and be supervising the different Area Managers.
You will be ensuring compliance with relevant regulation and legislation, being part of the Operational team that drives a proactive, responsive and truly exceptional service to children and adults of all ages and lead and inspire a performance related and person centred focussed culture. Responsibilities cover people management, legislation, compliance, and finance. As stated you`ll be managing your own team with the support of directors, and working closely with the Operational Quality and Performance Manager.
